Issue 11, Robotics Revealed

     The topic surrounding this piece is extremely sensitive-- an allegedly inappropriate relationship between an adult mentor and a student on the robotics team.  I am very pleased with the simplicity of the piece, as well as its composition; the use of the robotics team's logo lent itself to a powerful image, which added a strong emphasis to the accompanying article's tone.  I personally feel as though the phrase "less is more" is a rule that specifically applies to graphics, particularly those supplementing an article, and that rule itself comes through very clearly in this piece.
