WINTER BLUES

     As the bitter January weather, as well as looming midterm exams, took their toll on the student body, mental health became an important topic covered by The Tower throughout the mid-winter months.  Seasonal depression is one of the many barriers faced by Grosse Pointe South's student body, and addressing this topic in a graphic ensured our audience that their struggles are being recognized.  Considering our school's history with mental health coverage, I am proud knowing that my art can be used as a way for students to see themselves acknowledged.
